Our featured speaker is an accomplished author and an inspirational presenter, committed to the emotional and intellectual development of his audiences. In every keynote and/or work-shop presentation he delivers, Scott provides the attendees with hands-on opportunities to promote personal empowerment. Of course nobody can motivate you except for you, but Scott can provide some of the tools! Scott believes that everyone has the capacity to be great, so he encourages the “Empowerment of Brilliant People”, which he feels includes everyone. Serving as the Vice Chairperson for the National Speakers Association's Professional Educators Group, Scott maintains a personal commitment to life long learning. Although, he continually seeks new knowledge in his travels, through reading, from discussions with friends and family, and many times by interacting with audience members, Scott also emphasizes the importance of knowing who we are as individuals. He encourages attendees in all of his audiences to become more self-aware – sharing meaningful experiences that afforded him a new sense of realization. Some of Scott’s captivating stories include: - The details of a near death experience - A lesson from a famous athlete - And more... Like many children today, Scott was raised in a single parent household for much of his childhood, forcing him to become more self-reliant. Luckily, he also learned who he was at a young age, a natural leader – but by a different definition than he found in any dictionary. Scott chose to lead by walking two steps behind, celebrating the success of the person ahead. This style of leadership helped Scott succeed as a student, collegiate athlete, a family member, and a friend. As an advocate of creative thinking, Scott challenges both adult and youth audiences to think outside the box - through informative programs such as "Respect, Responsibility and Realization (The New 3R's)", "Discovering Your Intuitive Self, and "Developing Emotional Intelligence". Scott received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Bentley College, located in Waltham, Massachusetts. He also earned an MBA from Texas State University, and he studied International Relations at the Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico.
